Adelaide 36ers guard Sunday Dech has full faith the team can build on the momentum from its win over Cairns Taipans to topple NBL23 leaders Sydney Kings.
The win keeps the 36ers within a chance of making the play-in series and Dech is confident on making it back-to-back wins.
"They're alive, we're still fighting and it showed with a good win in Cairns for us," he said.
"We're preparing for Sydney at home.
"All season long we've proven that we can beat anyone on our best nights, but lose to anyone on our worst nights.
"We want to put the right foot forward, come with a bit of energy, a bit of juice.
"It's our last home game of the season, we owe it to the fans to give some effort and we're confident we'll be able to beat Sydney."
The win came off the back of a five-game losing streak and Dech said it was a good feeling to snap it.
"It felt good, it's always tough to play in Cairns, they're a good side," he said.
"It's good to get a road win, it's been a long time between drinks.
"We're hoping to back it up again this Friday."
Dech added the preparation needs to be in a similar way to how it was before the Taipans game.
"For us it's preparing the right way the same way we went into Cairns," he said.
"Every game has been a test for us.
"Playing the league leaders is a challenging test, but it's one we're ready for."
