Antonius Cleveland
Hapoel BC Eilat
(Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israel)

Reigning two-time Damian Martin Trophy winner Cleveland agreed to a short- deal with Hapoel BC Eilat in Israel last month.

Cleveland made an immediate impact, playing 27 minutes and finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks in his debut match.

Hapoel BC Eilat was down 20-11 at the end of the first and 48-32 at half-time, before winning the second half.

Cleveland, 29, joined the Israeli Premier League team on an off-season deal and has vowed to return to Adelaide for NBL24.

Daniel Johnson
South Adelaide Panthers
(NBL1 Central)

The seven-time club MVP joins the Panthers for the second time during his NBL1 Central career and comes across to Mitchell Park after spending last season with Forestville Eagles.

Johnson is a huge inclusion for South Adelaide coach and Adelaide 36ers Hall of Fame legend Scott Ninnis, with the 212cm centre to partner with NBL1 Central 2022 grand final MVP and Defensive Player of the Year Alex Starling in the Panthers' frontcourt.

After avergaing 11.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per match across NBL23, Johnson will be looking to show his wares during the off-season and has dominated the NBL1 Central in the past, winning the 2013 Woolacott Medal when he played at West Adelaide.

Hyrum Harris
Hawke’s Bay Hawks
(NZNBL)

Harris returns to the NZNBL to play at Hawke’s Bay for a third season after joining the club for a second time at the start of the 2021 season.

The Hawks made the grand final in 2021, but missed the playoffs in 2022 and Harris will be keen to continue his stellar NBL23 for across the Tasman.

Harris also represent New Zealand recently in the FIBA World Cup qualification window, with the Tall Blacks securing wins over Saudi Arabia and Lebanon on home soil.

Kai Sotto
Hiroshima Dragonflies
(B. League, Japan)

Sotto agreed to an overseas offer during the NBL off-season for his pursuit to an NBA dream.

The 218cm centre, who has averaged 7.1 points and 4.5 rebounds across his 50 NBL games, has developed his game substantially over the past two NBL seasons.

Sotto said the time was right in his career for the next challenge and the move overseas is the next step in his journey towards his goal to make the big league.

“A new opportunity for me is really good and another opportunity for me to play basketball, I’m excited,” Sotto said.

“I didn’t want to spend a lot of time not playing, I’m lucky I’ve been offered this deal.”

Kyrin Galloway
Ipswich Force
(NBL1 North)

Galloway moves to Ipswich Force from Mackay Meteros in the NBL1 North for season 2023, looking to improve his game and take it to the next level.

He will be joined at the Force by brother and Sydney King Jaylin after the pair both led Mackay to the NBL1 North playoffs last season.

The 203cm power forward avergaed 2.5 points per game in NBL23 and played a vital role late in the season, especially at the defensive end, as the 36ers made a late run for the playoffs.

Mitch McCarron
West Adelaide Bearcats
(NBL1 Central)

McCarron joins the Bearcats for the 2023 NBL1 Central season after playing last off-season with Northside Wizards.

The 189cm combo guard, who played a big role in Australia’s qualification for the FIBA World Cup, could miss some matches due to Boomers commitments, but will bring experience to a young West Adelaide side.

Nick Marshall
Mount Gambier Pioneers
(NBL1 South)

Marshall, who recently signed a new three-year deal, is back in Mount Gambier hoping to lift the Pioneers one last hurdle to championship glory in 2023.

Mount Gambier fell at the final hurdle in 2022, losing the grand final to Hobart, but Marshall returns to the Pioneers after a breakout year at the 36ers, which saw him play his way into the main roster.

Marshall also impressed in his international debut with the Boomers last month during the FIBA World Cup qualifying window campaign.

Robert Franks
Hapoel Gilboa Galil
(Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israel)

Franks made his off-season debut for Hapoel Gilbao Galil in Israel last week after signing an off-season deal until the end of the season.

The 201cm import scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in his side's 104-90 loss to Nes Ziona.

Gilbao Galil went into the main break level at 52-52, but a 32-21 final quarter from Nes Ziona was enough for them to get the result.
