Over 20 hopefuls were on court at Adelaide 36ers Arena on Tuesday for the first day of the Development Player tryout camp.
Adelaide has three spots available for its four Development Player positions and recently signed DP Keanu Rasmussen said the first day was a great experience.
“It was good to be out on the floor with all the guys,” Rasmussen said.
“Knowing that I already have a spot is a relief, but I’m still going out there and competing for every last possession.”
After a tough morning session where all the players were put through paces in different scenarios, the afternoon session was based on scrimmages.

Adelaide 36ers head coach CJ Bruton was impressed with the attitude, ability, and energy of day one.
“You can see the intensity of the session right from the start, it’s what I wanted to see early,” Bruton said.
“I want the players who want to play for Adelaide to be in Adelaide and get those locals who are overseas or interstate, to want to come back and be at the 36ers.”
Players will return to Adelaide 36ers Arena on Wednesday morning for day two.
