The Adelaide 36ers will look to recreate their Opening Round success against Melbourne United when they take to the court on Wednesday, 7 October, while celebrating the strength, dedication and future of South Australia’s construction and trade industries.
Master Builders SA returns as the presenting partner of the Born to Build Construction Industry Round, alongside long-term partners Sterling Homes and SGP Civil, highlighting the vital role South Australian businesses play in building our communities and supporting elite sport.
Fans attending the game can enjoy a range of interactive activations throughout the venue, including partner experiences in the ORB and the crowd-favourite half-time entertainment, featuring the annual Tradie Race.
Adelaide 36ers CEO Nic Barbato said the Round provided an important opportunity to showcase the career pathways available to young South Australians.
“Through our partnership with Master Builders SA, we’re proud to help shine a light on the opportunities available to young people considering a career in the building and construction industry,” Mr Barbato said.
“Apprenticeships provide a great way to learn on the job, develop practical skills and build a strong foundation for the future – it’s very similar to the way our Development Players hone their craft on the practice court.
“We’re delighted to bring the Born to Build Construction Industry Round back to Sixers fans and celebrate the people and businesses helping shape South Australia.”

Born to Build is a joint initiative between Master Builders SA and the South Australian Government, designed to inspire and develop the next generation of tradies by showcasing the diverse and rewarding career opportunities available within the construction industry.
"Our collaboration with the Adelaide 36ers in the Construction Round is important to Master Builders SA and the Born to Build initiative because it emphasises the synergy between competing in sport and succeeding in a trade career,” said Master Builders SA CEO Will Frogley.
“Both demand more than natural ability - they require discipline, resilience, teamwork, a willingness to train and learn, coachability, and the commitment to keep improving.”
Don’t miss the Born to Build Construction Round as the Adelaide 36ers take on Melbourne United in a celebration of South Australian industry, community and basketball.
Tip off of the game is at 7:00pm ACDT with limited tickets still available.
