The Adelaide 36ers are proud to announce the signing of power forward Keanu Pinder for NBL21.
The 25-year-old, 203cm forward returns to Australia after playing in the US and Europe. He most recently played with Polish Basketball League team Legia Warszawa, averaging 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game last season.
Chairman Grant Kelley said, “Keanu Pinder was a highly sought-after player in free agency, and we are thrilled he chose to join the 36ers. Together with Daniel Johnson and Isaac Humphries he will bring great athleticism and competitiveness to our team, and strengthen our offensive capability, which we promised our fans would be a priority for the upcoming season.”
Keanu Pinder is looking forward to joining the Adelaide 36ers.
“I feel like I am going to be able to shine under Coach Conner. I know that Adelaide will be a great fit for me with the coaching staff and my new teammates. I can’t wait to come and grind with this team!” Keanu said.

Originally from Derby in Western Australia, Keanu was recruited by highly rated NCAA program the Arizona Wildcats, spending two seasons and contributing a rebounding and defensive presence.
Head Coach Conner Henry couldn’t be happier about the new signing.
“Keanu’s athleticism and energy are two things that our roster has been lacking, and it’s going to be exciting to see him grow as a player. He has only scratched the surface, and we think he is going to be a great addition to our big men of Daniel Johnson and Isaac Humphries. Welcome to the club, Keanu!” Coach Henry concluded.
General Manager of Basketball Jeff Van Groningen added, “We are excited to welcome Keanu Pinder to our team and can’t wait to see what this young man is capable of in the NBL.”
Keanu Pinder joins key new signings Isaac Humphries and Josh Giddey, with further new player and coaching announcements to be made in the coming weeks.
The Adelaide 36ers commence pre-season on 1 September at Titanium Security Arena, with the NBL21 season start date announced for 3 December.
