Cadee says Sixers to 'stick to the process'

Adelaide 36ers point guard Jason Cadee said his side has one focus and that’s the Bullets in Brisbane on Friday night.

The 36ers travel to Nissan Arena and must win to keep the NBL24 Play-In tournament hopes alive, and Cadee believes his side need to continue their new-found mindset.

“We have talked about it as a group, especially after Sunday’s loss,” Cadee told media this week.

“But we are also very mindful that throughout this process where we have turned things around we have just had a focus on the next game, and control what we can control.

“So, for us right now is Brisbane.”

With almost every team still able to make the NBL Play-In top six, Cadee said his side knows anyone can beat anyone with the competition so close.

“I’ve never seen like this (before), when last place has 10 wins,” Cadee said.

“I’ve never seen it this wild of how close it is now from fourth down to 10^th.

“Everyone is in the same situation, Brisbane is in the same situation as us, they need to win.

“For us, is going there and not letting them do that, which means we walk away with a win.”

Cadee said the way the 36ers have rebounded, winning six of the past eight games to make alate rally for the NBL Play-In, has been promising not only for the rest of NBL24, but for NBL25 and beyond.

“We have got things going on a path now where people think ‘well, hang on a sec, they have turned things around’,” Cadee said.

“But there is no real fun in watching the playoffs.

“We have to find a way of getting in there, and if we get in there, how do we keep winning games.”

Adelaide will travel to Brisbane on Thursday for Friday night’s must-win clash against the Bullets at Nissan Arena from 7pm ACDT.
