Adelaide 36ers NBL Next Star sensation Trentyn Flowers has been described as “built for the NBA” by South East Melbourne Phoenix big man Alan Williams.
Speaking on NBL Overtime this week, Williams was super impressed with Flowers, who scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the 36ers’ win against the Phoenix.
“Trentyn is built for the NBA now,” Williams said,
“His body is there but he is still young, and he still has things to work out.”

Williams, who played 112 games, including 101 starts over his four-year NBA career, averaging 15.5 points, 10 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 27.0 minutes per game, said Flowers has what it takes to make the big league.
“His mentality on the glass was phenomenal,” Williams said.
“I remember going up for a rebound one time and he came up, hits me in the back of my head, gets the rebound and puts in in for a layup.”
“That go get it mentality that he has, he has put in the work,
“What Adelaide has done, and CJ (Bruton, 36ers head coach), is give him an opportunity to show all the tools he has in his toolkit.”
