Hately returns to basketball in Celebrity Game

Adelaide Crows midfielder Jackson Hately will trade the football in for a basketball on Saturday as he prepares to kit up for the Celebrity Game curtain opener before the Adelaide 36ers take on the Perth Wildcats at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The former GWS Giant is no stranger to basketball, having won state championships with Trinity College and played for NBL1 Central side Central Districts Lions.
"I'm excited to be playing," he said.
"I've always loved basketball growing up."
Before turning to play AFL full-time, Hately said he loved his time with the Lions.
"I always enjoyed my time there, and playing school basketball with Trinity," he said.
