Adelaide 36ers will be out to open their NBL24 season account on Friday night in ‘The Jungle’ against arch-rivals Perth Wildcats at RAC Arena.
After going 0-2 in the opening round, the 36ers will be keen to get on the winners’ list against a Perth side also coming off a loss to South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Adelaide 36ers swingman Trey Kell said his side is primed for an improved performance after a tough week on the training court ahead of this weekend’s double header.
“Everyone is saying it’s a tough road trip but to me it’s just two games,” Kell said.

Scouting Report: Beware emotional Wildcats bouncing back
“Obviously they’re two really talented teams, but I think every team in the league is talented regardless of where you go.
“It’s always tough to win on the road, but I think we are up for the challenge and try and get us that first win.”
Perth captain Jesse Wagstaff expects a totally different side to the one the Wildcats defeated 112-80 at the NBL Blitz on the Gold Coast last month.
“They are going to come in and they’re going to be desperate, desperate for their first win,” Wagstaff said.
“We played them at the Blitz, but that wasn’t the true representation of where they were at or who they are.
“They went down to the wore against Melbourne, and Melbourne is a high-quality team, so we are expecting a high quality team and CJ has got them well drilled.”
Fans can catch Friday night’s action live and exclusive from 9.30pm AEDT on ESPN via Kayo Sports.
