Harris is sticking to his strengths

Adelaide 36ers power forward Hyrum Harris is turning into the 'glue guy' every succesful roster needs.
Head coach CJ Bruton has been impressed with the 198cm forward's impact off the bench in the club's opening two wins at the NBL Blitz in Darwin.
“Harris has that presence that every team needs, the way he glues a team together on the defensive end, offensively he’s a creator, screener, roller, just a good piece that wins titles, it’s part of a championship DNA,” Bruton said.
“I have played with guys like that in the past, his energy within the group not only when he is on the floor, but off the floor as well is something I’ve seen a lot during my time playing.
“When I see Mika Vukona, Dillon Boucher, guys like that compete and play hard, he (Harris) has those same traits that those boys had.”
Although the stats sheet wasn't kind to Harris in Adelaide's 87-79 win over Tasmania on Monday, the Kiwi international made an instant effect in the 84-76 success over South East Melbourne last Friday night.
"It's not about points or stats, it's about what you bring to the group, sometimes that can't be measured," Bruton said.
Adelaide will complete their NBL Blitz campaign on Thursday night against Illawarra Hawks at 8pm and the game will be available on Kayo Freebies.
