Dear Sixers fans,
It has been an eventful end to 2021.
Tuesday morning, we were forced to postpone our game against the Perth Wildcats as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19 protocols and close contact requirements in South Australia.
The decision came after a team member tested positive to Covid, resulting in all game-day players and staff being deemed close contacts.
Due to current South Australian State Government Covid Directions, the subsequent Adelaide 36ers home game on 2nd January against South-East Melbourne Phoenix was also postponed.
Fast forward to today, the State Government close contact directions will be updated and all squad members who tested negative will be free from home quarantine requirements and back into normal group training.
New fixture dates for the postponed games v Perth and South-East Melbourne will be announced in the coming days. All tickets for these two games will transfer and be valid for the rescheduled dates.
We sold more gameday tickets for the 28th December Wildcats fixture than any other home game over the past two seasons. Thank you to all our members and fans who continue to support us in great numbers.
We now have eight days to prepare for our next home game on Friday 7th January vs Perth Wildcats, 7pm start at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
There is a chance Sunday Dech will return to the squad which will be a boost against Wildcats Bryce Cotton and Vic Law.
Ahead of the game we have extended our special ticket offer of $20 adult & concession tickets and $50 family (2 adults & 2 juniors). To redeem the offer, use the codeword 36ersdiscountNBL22. Tickets can be purchased here.
Corporate gameday tickets/packages, including the popular Pony Deck, are available and can be purchased here.
For any enquiries including sponsorship, membership, corporate hospitality, and merchandise, please get in touch with us on 8345 0900 or email admin@adelaide36ers.com
To all members and fans, on behalf of the club I would like to thank you for your unwavering support in 2021 and wish you a safe and prosperous 2022.
Hope to see you all on Friday 7th January at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Go Sixers!
