Adelaide 36ers Development Player Che Brogan has been named as part of the All-Star Five of the NBA Academy Abu Dhabi Showcase.
Brogan travelled to the UAE last week to take part in the event, which saw Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence side play fixtures against international academies from the United States, France and Senegal.
The inaugural event was held at NYU’s Abu Dhabi Campus, preceding the 2025 Abu Dhabi Games matchups between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Played in front of numerous NCAA coaches and NBA scouts, the games provided a platform for international talent to be discovered and developed on a global stage.
Along with the CEO, the other academies involved were the IMG Academy Ascender Elite (Florida, USA), INSEP (Paris, France) and NBA Global Academy Africa (Saly, Senegal).
Brogan really caught the eye in the COE’s 83-72 win over IMG with a game-high 24 points, three rebounds and three assists. He was the only player on the COE side to get to double figures in points, mainly getting it done from the free throw line where he went 11/14.
He was again the top scorer with 19 points in his second game against the French side, which resulted in a 72-69 loss. Brogan also had four rebounds and five assists in that game.
In the final game against the NBA Academy Africa, Brogan helped the COE side to a big 82-56 win.
Off 16 minutes of game time, he had 12 points including 8/10 from the free throw line, as well as three rebounds and two assists.
Brogan signed with the 36ers just over a month ago, following in the footsteps of his uncle Dean Brogan who was a 1998 NBL Champion with the club.
