As the NBL22 season approaches the Adelaide 36ers look back and recognise the contribution of Brendan Teys.
The highly respected, versatile guard arrived in Adelaide in 2013 and finishes 9th on the all-time games played list for the Club (226).
In his 3,170 minutes as a Sixer Teys scored 935 points, had a single game career-high 23 points against the NZ Breakers in 2014, grabbed 289 rebounds, and handed out 205 assists.
It was beyond the stats sheets though where Teys made an even greater contribution, serving as Captain or Co-Captain for four straight seasons from 2017, and leading the 36ers with distinction for a total of 110 NBL games.
We wish Brendan and his family all the best in the next phase of their lives, and recognise the valued contribution to the 36ers he has made.
