Weekend delight for loyal 36ers fans

Basketball is back on the weekend in a big way at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre after the NBL25 schedule was released on Friday.

The club will host 11 of 14 home games across Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon this season, with members, partners and fans rewarded for their devoted support.

Adelaide 36ers CEO Nic Barbato said the club was pleased with the NBL25 schedule and the club now has a huge opportunity moving into the new season.

“We had eight sell outs in NBL24 after seven in NBL23 and we can’t wait to increase this and continue to build that momentum,” Barbato said.

“Our home game product is one of the best in the country, we are almost 30 per cent up on membership from the same time last season and we want to keep improving into NBL25 and beyond.”

As well as 11 of the 14 home games played on weekends, nine home games will be featured during the school holidays.

“Our fans have been rewarded by voting with their feet, this is an exciting schedule, with a lot of family friendly times” Barbato said.

Adelaide 36ers will again host a home game on Christmas Eve (Tuesday, December 24) against Brisbane Bullets, while also hosting the very popular Proclamation Day game on December 28 against arch-rival Perth Wildcats.  

The club opens the NBL25 season at Hoops Fest in Perth against Sydney Kings, with the first home game against South East Melbourne Phoenix on Thursday, October 3.
