Former Adelaide 36ers point guard Josh Giddey is itching to play on current 36er Sunday Dech when the two meet in the NBL x NBA pre-season game in October.
The now-Oklahoma City Thunder star said the opportunity to play against Dech is something he’s relishing, and there’s been some pre-game banter in the lead-up.
“Sunday is one I’m really looking forward to playing,” Giddey told adelaide36ers.com.
“We have been texting a bit about the game.

Yet, Dech isn’t the only player Giddey is eager to tackle in October.
“DJ as well, he was one of my teammates and I’ve known Macca (McCarron) for a long time,” he said.
“Sunday, we will have to guard each other for a fair bit of the game, but I’m definitely looking forward to playing against all the guys.”
